What are the truths that you believe about God that is currently influencing your self-image?

Definition of Self Esteem

– The confidence in one’s worth or abilities

– Self Esteem is how we value and perceive ourselves to be. It is based on our opinion about ourselves.

Factors that can influence our self-image:

Childhood

Parent’s dreams for us and what they say about us (positive or negative)

Teachers

Friends

Spouses expectations

Children

Failures & Heartaches

Social Media

As Christian women, we cannot fully know ourselves apart from fully knowing God.

So if our understanding of ourselves is determined by our knowledge of who God is, then it is only logical for us to get to know Him.
