Hi ladies I am pleased to share this week’s devotional, I pray it serves as a blessing in your spiritual walk with God. This week we will focus on being intentional in the way that we seek the Lord. Many of you are businesswomen, full-time moms, leaders in your community, the list of amazing women in this group goes on. That being said, we know that a PRODUCTIVE WOMAN = A BUSY SCHEDULE. As women of God with a lot on our plates, it is easy to fall into a busy routine. Routines are good, they are necessary for organization however, this week I will challenge you to break with your day-to-day routine and ask the Holy Spirit to be your lead. Most of the time we tend to schedule our private time with the Lord around our busy schedule. Instead of writing Him into our daily planner, let’s have Him write out our day. How different would today look if you plan your day around the Lord? When was the last time you asked God “Lord, what is your will in my life for TODAY?
In Matthew chapter 6 Jesus gives us a guide on how to pray. This has become a “model prayer” for many. Often we pray “give us today our daily bread” and “lead us not into temptation” but skip over “Thy will be done.” How often do we actually pray that the will of God be done in our lives? As we go on about today, let God lead your plans. Ask for His will to be done and be ok with having Him break today’s planned agenda in exchange for His perfect will.Verse: Matthew 6:9-10 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” As you go on about your day, I invite you to meditate on the lyrics of this beautiful song: https://youtu.be/wrQuKK6jz-4
