THURSDAY: Come let us reason…

“For God [does reveal His will; He] speaks not only once, but more than once, even though men do not regard it.[One may hear God’s voice] in a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men while slumbering upon the bed. Then He opens the ears of men and seals their instruction. That He may withdraw man from his purpose and cut off pride from him .” Job 33:14-17

One of the key factors in contending for your case is to know God’s story about you. What does God say about you?

David -I have provided for myself a king among his sons.”  1 Samuel 16:1

Gedeon – When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” “Pardon me, my lord,” Judges 6:12

Jeremiah – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

Job: Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.” Job 1:8

Samson: Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean [thing]: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death. Judges 13:7

John the Baptist: Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Matthew 11:11

Jesus: “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” Luke 1:30-33

Ladies what is God saying about you? See, the enemy speaks about you… your failures, faults and shortcoming, in other words, he accuses you. But God, what He says about you is what is according to His Will. He is focused on your destiny, your part in the kingdom.

Today, I encourage you to

PRAY ACCORDING TO HIS WILL. IT WILL BE DONE. YOU MAY ASK, BUT HOW DO I KNOW WHAT GOD WANTS? HE DESPERATELY WANTS TO REVEAL HIS WILL TO YO. HE DOES! CAN YOU ALLOW HIM TO TALK TO YOU? LISTEN TO HIS COUNSEL?

WEDNESDAY: Confidence

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

When there is opposition or oppression in a certain area of your life, the last thing you have is confidence. But in the throne of grace you can have full confidence that your case will be heard.

,Today we are on our third day of worship.

On day one we entered into His courts with thanksgiving.

On Day 2, we realized that we have audience before a God who is for us.

Today we meditate on this fact: we can walk in full confidence that in this court process we will receive grace and find help in our time of need.

I have seen people walk into a court room. The last trait in their character is confidence. If anything their confidence is in the money they have paid an attorney to represent them. Still, in an earthly court, the law is in the limited interpretation of human beings. Our confidence is in who represents us:

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelations 12:11

Who represents us?

-the blood of the Lamb

-the word of our testimony

-the fact that we love HIM above all things

THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB:

“to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.” Hebrews 12:24 WOW! Jesus is our counsel, our mediator, isn’t that a reason enough to be CONFIDENT? No attorney on earth can top that!

THE WORD OF OUR TESTIMONY:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 The story written about you speaks on your behalf.

WE LOVE HIM ABOVE ALL THINGS:

Do you remember the promise Jesus made about those that Love the Him? “ You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—” John 14:14-16

Dear friends “…This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”

TODAY, NO MATTER WHAT YOUR SITUATION, stand in confidence that you have a righteous judge and three powerful witnesses speaking on your behalf.

TUESDAY: A Righteous Judge

“You saw whom you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day,

the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book.” Psalm 121: 3-4

WE HAVE AN AUDIENCE WITH A JUDGE THAT KNOWS US. HE KNOWS YOU AND IS FOR YOU.

Today you have audience with a judge who knows you by name. In an earthly court of law, you would be coming before a judge who has limited knowledge of you or your case. As a matter of fact, all the judge knows about you is based on accusations, partial facts, and witness accounts… a pretty bad picture don’t you agree?

On the other hand, in the presence of God, our righteous judge, you are no stranger. This court knows who you are in Christ. In Christ, meaning in His will, there is no condemnation. Romans 8:1 What a great hope we have! Today we come before the one who authored our life’s story. The one who promised to complete a “good work in you”..  “being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

“You saw whom you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book.” Psalm 121: 3-4

PRAYER:

Father thank you for reminding me today that you are good, that you are all powerful, my God and my creator. My identity in Christ means your approval and my victory. Today I pray for wisdom, Father favor me with learning more about your will for my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen

MONDAY: Entering into His Courts

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. ” Psalms 100:4

Worship in spirit & in truth is our pass into the mercy seat

There are areas your life that you have contended for so long that you might find yourself exhausted. As a matter of fact those prayer needs are no longer under your radar of faith; you have forsaken them…left them backstage of your intercessory prayer. In the past you fought for this, convinced God wanted for you… but somehow it is now forgotten.

This week I want to encourage you to leave the battlefield and enter the courtroom. It is in the courtroom where your are heard, and where you get a decree of alignment to His Will. That decree states your victory. Do you know what is written in it?

Are you ready to hear from God? Are you willing to take a peak, a look into what HE wants to show you?

I am. Today we enter into His presence, we are welcomed into His most high court of law to begin our hearing with the only righteous Judge. Your enter-ticket is worship. Worship gets you in.

Prayer/Worship

“Father thank you for this time with you. You are God almighty, my God, my redeemer. You are for me. “

He is for you

By Jenny Lopez Lowe

Have you ever felt the pressure of standing up for yourself? The fear that people will misjudge your motives? Or the anxiety of being too far from God? Well, you do not have to fear anymore. There are several scriptures in the Bible where we are reminded that HE (GOD) IS FOR US.

God’s love for you and me is more that a quotable phrase, it is his whole purpose. HE LOVES US, HE IS FOR US.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Romans 8:16

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

So, if we know this, why are we still defaulting on the opposite thought? How can we intercept lies that bring us down? We can check on the following:

  1. Are your thoughts of condemnation of conviction?
  2. Are you planning to face the future with your own strength or with God’s favor?
  3. Are you defining your identity based on your pain, insecurities or shortcomings, or are listening to God’s definition of who you are based on His plans for you?

Finally, are you standing on the fact that your Heavenly Father LOVES YOU? That His definition of correction and discipline is restoration? That in HIM there is HOPE, LOVE and GRACE. Choose HIM, He is for you.

PRAYER
Father thank you for your love. Being reminded of your eternal love fills my heart with peace and confidence. I am not alone. You are for me. Thank you Father to walking with me every step of the way, even when I don’t see it. Amen

Estoy dispuesta a someterme a ti. En tu Nombre Jesus. Amen.

Do you have VALUE? OR Do you have a PRICE?

By Jenny Lopez Lowe

One day the trees went out to anoint a king for themselves. They said to the olive tree, ‘Be our king.’ “But the olive tree answered, ‘Should I give up my oil, by which both God and humans are honored, to hold sway over the trees?’“Next, the trees said to the fig tree, ‘Come and be our king.’“But the fig tree replied, ‘Should I give up my fruit, so good and sweet, to hold sway over the trees?’“Then the trees said to the vine, ‘Come and be our king.’“But the vine answered, ‘Should I give up my wine, which cheers both God and humans, to hold sway over the trees?’ “Finally all the trees said to the thornbush, ‘Come and be our king.’“The thornbush said to the trees, ‘If you really want to anoint me king over you, come and take refuge in my shade; but if not, then let fire come out of the thornbush and consume the cedars of Lebanon!’   Judges 9:8-15

This parable is found in the book of Judges. Jotham, Gedeon’s youngest son, addresses the men of Shechem. He confronts them and holds them accountable for their actions. He does so wisely through a story that leads them to understand that the individuals who have low self worth usually sell their souls for a low prices. This action is devastatingly tragic.

Today, I meditate on my own identity and self worth, and I invite you to meditate on yours.

It is enriching to see the olive tree know its value before God and before men. It is there, that the olive tree discovers its reward. Jotham said, “To be king of the trees, it would have to stop producing oil, which is used to honor God and men” . The olive tree did not put a price on its value, in other words it did not compromise its value for the offer to rule. He knew that deviating from its divine design would cost him its identity.

In the same manner, the fig tree, very sure of itself, valued its fruit and the pleasure that it meant to God and to men … So also happened with the grape vine. Its fruit, wine, has a value that has transcended over the centuries, until today … The value of wine continues to increase although the process of fermentation continues to be very similar to that used in ancient time …

And you? Do you know how valuable your fruit is to God and to men? Do you know that even if your daily effort seems boring, outdated or insignificant, it is of great esteem for God and for men?

Be encouraged that like the grape vine and the olive tree, your fruit has a value that will live beyond your imagination. The one that designed you did it with purpose and no limitations. Do not look to the left or to the right to compare your life with the lives of others. God deals with us individually. Your task this year is to nourish the fruit that only you can produce.

Thank you Lord for your perfection, thank you for this fruit that you have only entrusted to me. You are my life, my reason and my confidence. Perfect my work with your love to be able to bless many with my fruit. In your name Jesus, Amen
